On July 14th, Consumer Reports distributed this video showing that using Apple’s Bumper Case seems to eliminate the “death grip” holding the lower left side of the new iPhone. The movie is below and the link to their article is at this link.

Also, tomorrow, Apple is holding a press conference to discuss this problem. We all await their discussion and hope for solution that is positive for iPhone 4 owners and potential purchasers (like me).
