Lab tests done by Consumer Reports now confirm the presence of a defect in the iPhone 4’s antenna. The defect is specifically where others have reported it, when your finger or hand touches that gap in the antenna in the lower left corner of the iPhone 4. Because of this, they cannot recommend the iPhone 4 although they do rate highly many of the phone’s other features.
