Cathleen and Lulu walk through the Carmel Valley Ranch forest.

There is a trail at Carmel Valley Ranch that winds up into the hills overlooking the Ranch. The hills are lined with a forest of very beautiful, large old Oak trees. As you hike up the trail, there are some great views down onto the Ranch property and the area where our home is located (photo to be posted next).

    1. Cathleen, Lulu and I drove around to Holt and went up to the top and found the trailhead there as you and Randy told us about. We didn’t make it all the way up though. I think I’ll need to work up to getting there eventually.

  1. I didn’t even know you took this! I love it, looks like we’re walking in a fairy tale forest. If I hadn’t walked the path but just saw the picture, it would make me wonder where the path leads.
