This is another view of the old buildings at Lee’s Ferry (see yesterday’s Daily Photo). The stone structure with the vegas are typical of buildings there in the late 19th century and early 20th century. At that time, Lee’s Ferry was the only crossing of the Colorado River between Moab, Utah and Needles, California.
The photo was taken with a Canon EOS D60, EF17-40mm f/4L lens, 1/15 sec at f/19, ISO 100 on SanDisk Extreme IV Digital Film, and processed with Nik Silver Efex Pro 2.

I like this building but it seems to get lost in the background.
I tend to agree with your comment about it getting lost in the background. I just tried to crop it differently but no matter how I work with it, the background is still the problem.
