1954 DESOTO Firedome – Memory Lane Classic Cab

This is a photograph I took of this 1954 DESOTO FIREDOME used as a Taxi and parked outside the office of the Shady Dell Motel in Bisbee, AZ. It’s amazing how being at this motel and its diner are like walking back in time. I did some research on Google and this appears to be a 1954 Desoto Firedome model, a great old car.

The photo was taken with a Canon EOS 40D, EF17-40mm f/4L lens, 1/500 sec at f/6.7, ISO 200.

I do, very well, although I didn’t remember the year. So thanks for reminding me. I have an old Buick photo from the Shady Dell as well. It’s a special kind of Buick from 1947. I’ll be posting pictures of it in a few weeks.
