Highway Through Snowy Sedona
Thanks to everyone who offered their opinion on color vs black & white. It was unanimous, everyone liked the color version best. That includes me. It was fun to experiment with black & white, and that may not have been the best image to do that on. The color was too important given the location and the contrast between the red rocks and the white snow. I made one other suggested edit to the photo, as well. (Click on the photo to enlarge. More importantly, however, I really haven’t found my “inner Ansel Adams” yet. But I’m working on it. Thanks for the support, and keep coming back to check on the daily photo. Please help me decide which version to choose. It doesn’t usually snow this heavily in Sedona but this was a great day to shoot photographs and we had so much fun.
I’ve processed the images in both color and black & white. Moon Jellyfish in Motion
This is a composite of the same Moon Jellyfish taken in succession at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The Moon Jellyfish is sometimes called the Saucer Jelly or the Common Jellyfish. It grows up to 15 inches in diameter. The adults live 3-6 month and are found in temperate and tropical oceans and bays worldwide.
