Tuna Sliced for New Years

Tuna being prepared for sushi on New Years Day

I love the color and texture of this sliced tuna (Maguro). It had been sliced to make into Nigri sushi.

The photo was taken with a Canon EOS 40D, EF17-40mm f/4L lens, 1/60 sec at f/4, ISO 200 with a diffused flash bounced off the ceiling.

  1. Beautiful! I love the depth of the texture. Again (being a carnivore) I am drooling. Sashimi maguro is my favorite!
