I found another shot I liked from the Monterey Bay Aquarium of the Moon Jellyfish. I have to say I’m fascinated by them and as I finished working on this photo and was looking for a title, I just appreciated how majestic or regal they appeared swimming together. If you want to see the other jellyfish photos I’ve published here, go to the Select Category drop-down menu on the upper part of the right column and choose “Jellyfish”.

The photo was taken with a Canon EOS 40D, EF17-40mm f/4L lens, 1/60 sec at f/4, ISO 640 on SanDisk Extreme IV Digital Film.

Thank you Edith. I appreciate your comments.
Always amazing!!
Thank you Jancy.
They are luminous, numinous — especially in that deep indigo. Beautiful!
Wow Marty, this is awesome. There’s a really nice soft feel to this!
Thanks Jason. I really enjoy shooting photos at the aquarium. I just wish they’d allow tripods to be used.
Really beautiful how you captured the glow, and the almost atmospheric or cloud-like quality of each jelly’s body. Do they weight anything?
I don’t know what they weigh…
The delicacy you have captured here is beautiful. I love this image.
Thank you Pat.
