Here is a photo from about one hour after moonrise last night. I like the mystical quality the Super Moon created by illuminating the clouds beneath it as it passed behind the clouds in front of it. If you didn’t see it, the first image I posted today is here.
This photo was taken with a Canon EOS 6D, Sigma 150-500 mm lens, 1/.3 sec at f/11, ISO 200 captured on a Lexar 400x SDXC UHS-1 memory card

Wonderful images….. just gorgeous.
Thank you Miye. I’m glad you liked them.
They are both absolutely beautiful!
Thanks Ets—
That looks like it is straight from a movie. Imagine as a large print with a spot light on it.
Thanks Sweetie– That would look good with a spot light on it.
Oooh, I like this one.
Thanks Brendon. It’ll make a nice desktop wallpaper. Let me know if you need a file and the dimensions.
I like both of today’s moon photos but especially this one . . . of course you know how I love clouds! The sliver of moon and gradations of blue in the clouds are beautiful and ethereal. Very dramatic.
Me too. I like this one the best.
