Really like this in black and white. Did you shoot it it monochrome or do it post production?
I did it in post production. I was originally working on it in color, then just thought I’d see what it looked like in B+W and when I did, I was blown away by how it looked. Then I worked on it a little more to adjust the shading. I need to try that more often while working on images.

I do wish we knew what it says on the knife . . . some of it looks machine pressed, but the larger kanji looks hand-etched into the knife. The person who made the knife? Owner of the knife?
