On our last day in the Sahara, I took this photo of the sun rising over the horizon illuminating our tent camp.
This photo was taken with a Canon EOS 6D, EF24-105mm f/4L IS lens, 1/1000 sec at f/11, ISO 2500 captured on a Lexar 400x SDXC UHS-1 memory card.

Truly gorgeous; really painterly in the composition and the colors.
Thank you Laurie…
Beautiful, Marty! You’re an artist with the camera! That must have been such an awesome trip!
Thank you Randy. It was filled with so much to see and learn and shoot photos. Still more to come.
Amazingly beautiful! Bah humbug to folks that say the desert does not hold beauty.
Thanks Terri…
How far away were you when you took this photo? Beautiful and … no footprints.
I’d say I was 150 t0 200 yards from the tent camp on top of a low sand dune. Behind where I was standing were the big sand dunes that I’ve already posted images of and quite a few hundred yards away. I think I walked up to that spot on what would be the left side of the image so the footprints would be out of sight.
