Pickets and Shadows

At the end of the day, the setting sun causes pickets to cast long shadows on the deck.

The front of our home faces North with a slight nod to the West. The setting sun shines on us from the left and I’ve been noticing what cool shadows it casts on our front deck. This photo was taken with a Canon EOS 40D, EF17-40mm f/4L lens, 1/125 sec at f/5.6, ISO 100 on SanDisk Extreme IV Digital Film and processed with Nik Silver Efex Pro 2.

  2. You know how much I love shadows. I knew you had to have shadow images in your photo library. Looking at the ground can be very image rewarding…and who knows…a loose $ or two!
