Masai warriors often pierce their ears then stretch the opening to accommodate really beautiful ear ornamentation. This photograph was of the chief of the village we visited. The woven headdress is typical as well.

This photograph was taken with a Canon EOS 40D, Sigma APO 150-500mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Lens, 1/80 sec at f/11, ISO 320 on SanDisk Extreme IV Digital Film.
