It must be in AZ – near Sedona (?) – a picture of a slot canyon formed many years ago when flowing, swirling water carrying sand and stones wore away the soft sandstone walls.
My first thought was it’s part of a slot canyon shot but the feathery part is baffling. Can’t tell what it is!
I think it’s a rock formation somewhere near Cottonwood at sunset [or sunrise]. Whatever it is, it’s stunningly beautiful!
It is light coming through on of the caves in Sedona?
Looks like hair to me?!
I agree with Brian’s guess. Beautiful photo!
Glowing horse hair?
I want to answer but I think I may have too much inside knowledge.
Well, I’m pretty sure it isn’t a biological image. But that is solely based on my knowledge of the photographer.
Is it one of those wind eroded canyon things?
