This hippo had just finished, what our safari guide referred to as, “a happy moment” with his female hippo companion. So, you tell me… Do Hippos Smile? (Click on the photo to enlarge.)

The photo was taken with a Canon EOS 40D, Sigma APO 150-500mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Lens, 1/500 sec at f/10, ISO 250 on SanDisk Extreme IV Digital Film.
