This is Castle Creek, and it is adjacent to the Ghost Town in Ashcroft, Colorado. It flows down the valley towards Aspen and into the Roaring Fork River, which flows into the Colorado River.
This photo was taken with a Canon EOS 6D, EF24-105mm f/4L IS lens, 1 sec at f/22, ISO 100 with a 10-stop ND filter, captured on a Lexar 400x SDXC UHS-1 memory card.
Love the water flowing over the rocks. Looking forward to seeing similar settings in Colorado soon.
So serenely beautiful! Great composition, love that dry rock rising out of the stream in the foreground.
I like that rock too.
Love it, such natural beauty.
Beautiful. Such a contrast to busy Chicago!
