Adobe announced today the launch of Adobe Creative Suite version 5.5. They have decided to provide yearly, specifically directed updates and major new releases every 24 months. In addition, they are offering a choice between purchasing different configurations of Adobe Creative Suite applications and subscribing to their use on a monthly or annual basis.
Not all the applications received updates, however. The updated applications include:
Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator did not receive updates. The new CS Suites will now include Acrobat 10. Adobe also introduced some new iPad Apps that will communicate with Photoshop on your computer. To find out more about the new updates, click on the suite name below:
Mystical Point Lobos Tree
This dark and eerie looking tree is located in Point Lobos State Reserve just north of Big Sur, CA. In person, it’s only mildly eerie. (This is a good one to click on the photo to enlarge.)
According to the Point Lobos website, “The orange, velvety “stuff” especially noticeable on trees and rocks of the shadowed north-facing slopes is green algae. Its orange color comes from carotene, a pigment which also occurs in carrots. The plant does not harm the trees.” Click on the comment number bubble to leave a comment.
