The Leopard was one of the most elusive and most beautiful animals I got to photograph. It is a shrewd predator and the strongest climber of the big cats, able to carry its kill up into the trees to protect it from other predators on the ground. They tend to live in the dense brush, rocky areas and near forest rivers. They’re primarily nocturnal and rest during the daytime in trees or thick brush. As you can see in this photo, their spotted coat provides excellent camouflage.
The photo was taken with a Canon EOS 40D, Sigma APO 150-500mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Lens, 1/160 sec at f/8, ISO 400 on SanDisk Extreme IV Digital Film.

there so beautiful and powerful yet gentle!
I feel the same way.
Now, that’s what I call relaxation!
Yeah…
I love this one. So relaxed. Almost life he isn’t the hunter that he is.
