Wave Power BW

The power of the waves crashing on the rocks.

The surf was up and the waves were crashing onto the rocks off the coast by Pacific Grove. I processed this image in black and white and found the wave very interesting. I found myself being drawn into the wave visually. Click on the image to enlarge it and what do you see in this wave? 1. I see Poseiden’s head as he comes out of the sea. The fan-shaped spray is his hair and the dark spot on the right beneath the hair as one eye.

  2. I see the dragon and the tree but I also see a giant open clam shell. It’s a pretty cool picture. It feels powerful.

  3. I see a dragon as well, specifically, “Treva, the Renewer” .

Maybe I just play too much Magic: The Gathering 🙂

    Very cool!

    1. Hey Brendon…
Given the number of different things people are seeing, anything seems possible. But looking at an image of Treva, the Renewer, it is suggestive of that.

  4. I see the dragon. I also see a figure in the center holding his arms up with his cape spread out on the sides, like Dracula!

  5. A dragon – pretty much center. Very handsome! Also on the “lower” level the top half of a some creature coming up – two dark eyes. – ps
