I mentioned in my last post, one of the most beautiful parts of Kenya and Tanzania was the grass on the savanna. Recently, I’ve been inspired to create a Savanna Collection that shows how the savanna interacts with nature through plants, animals, people, the sun and the weather.
Quite honestly, we had sunny days and very few clouds on this trip (much to my photographic dismay). This was one of the only cloudy days we encountered on the trip. Fortunately, the clouds started to part and allowed these beautiful sun rays to pass through and illuminate the savanna grass. This was taken on the Masai mara in Kenya.

Breathtaking! Another trip soon?
Thank you Shari. I really love this one. Well, it’s been 4 years since Africa, so, yes another trip planned this September/October to Morocco for two weeks. I’m expecting a lot of great things to photograph there.
Beautiful.
Thanks Jenny…
I’m loving these African landscapes. Thanks!
Thanks Susan… I think this one is very special.
Amazing. Like a presence from the sky.
Thank you. It’s really fun to go back and find images I passed over before and realize they have potential. That’s what happened with this one.
