Dance of the Purple-striped Jellies at the Monterey Bay Aquarium

One of my favorite jellyfish at the aquarium are the Purple-striped Jellies because of how gracefully they swim through the tank. You could easily set their movement to music as a graceful ballet dance.

The photo was taken with a Canon EOS 6D, EF24-105mm f/4L IS lens, 1/125 sec at f/5, ISO 2000 captured on a Lexar 400x SDXC UHS-1 memory card.

  1. Great shot, love the color contrast and the details in the jellies. They remind me of the rhythmic gymnasts with the long ribbon streamers, but even more beautiful.
